Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Kyrifix products, including Journal (iOS), Caption (macOS), and Dictionary (macOS). By using our apps, you agree to these Terms.

1. License and Access

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the apps for your personal use in accordance with these Terms.

2. Billing Channels

Kyrifix products use different billing channels by product:

  • Journal (iOS): billed via Apple App Store and managed in Apple ID account settings.
  • Caption (macOS) and Dictionary (macOS): billed via Creem web checkout.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

  • For Apple App Store purchases, Apple billing terms apply in your Apple ID account settings.
  • For Creem web checkout purchases, Creem acts as Merchant of Record for payment processing, invoicing, and applicable tax handling.
  • For Creem subscriptions, you can manage or cancel via the Customer Portal link in your receipt email.
  • If you cannot access Customer Portal, contact [email protected] for manual handling.
  • Support SLA for subscription and refund requests: first response within 24 hours, handling conclusion within 2 business days.
  • Refund windows follow product-specific policy shown on purchase/legal pages. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the apps, attempt to bypass subscription checks, reverse engineer the apps (except as permitted by law), or use the apps in violation of applicable laws.

5. Your Content

You are responsible for the content you create or store in the apps and for keeping your own backups. We do not guarantee that the apps will be uninterrupted or error-free.

6. Health and Wellness Disclaimer

Any wellness, mindfulness, or related features are for general informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice. Always seek professional medical guidance when needed.

7. Service Changes and Termination

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required by law.

8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The apps are provided β€œas is” and β€œas available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the effective date and provide notice in the app when appropriate.
